Materials and Tools 8.5" by 11" wide-lined paper, crayons, scissors, needle & thread. |

Directions 1. Color one side of the paper. Try zipzags, stripes, spirals & squiggles. 2. Turn the paper over and carefully cut along the lines to make strips that are one line-space wide 3. Fold a strip of paper as shown in the diagrams. Repeat diagram steps 3 - 5 until the strip is almost used up. Trim if necessary and tuck in the end as shown. Pinch the five vertices (corners) to make a puffy star shape. 4. Use need and thread to string stars like beads into a garland. |
