The CLF's Work in the World...

To have hard earth under our feet doesn't mean we have the right to step all over it, does it? We have a responsibility to ourselves, to others, to this great-big-blue-marble-of-a-world and maybe even beyond. One pleasant outcome: taking time to observe the world and our place in it. In this issue of Quest, Henry David Thoreau, Ric Masten and Kathryn Bert offer reflections which do just that.

Even while busy drowning, or flying through jungle treetops on a wire, Jane, too, contemplates her ministry in this vibrant, if untraditional church. Our individual and collective experiences matter greatly—you find them shared throughout the CLF’s programs—hopefully inspiring revelations to your own spirit.
