Rituals for Building a UU Home
Join us for a journey into creating richer, deeper rituals for your family. Discover what UU values you most want to reinforce in your home, and begin to re-shape your days. This course requires that participants purchase the book How to Bury a Goldfish, available through Amazon and other booksellers for $3-$15.
This course is designed for families with children or teens living at home, but others may find it useful.

In the Arms of the Beloved: The Poetry of Rumi
Rumi was a 13th century Sufi teacher and poet who wrote wonderfully evocative and vibrant poems to his Beloved that are rich with meaning, image, and wisdom. We will create a spiritual practice using Rumi’s words as a basis for weekly reflection, prayer, and writing.
Taught by the Rev. Robert Moore, a UU minister and a member of Pathways Church in Southlake, Texas, where he currently leads the Equipping Ministry Team and occasionally preaches and teaches adult religious education. This class begins August 1 and runs for six weeks.
Death and Dying
This course will explore both spiritual and practical issues that arise as we face our own mortality. We will examine our own thoughts, fears and concerns regarding death and the dying process through techniques such as journaling and meditation, and share with each other as we enter this ubiquitous, though hidden, aspect of living.
Taught by the Rev. Jane Ramsey, a UU minister who has worked as a hospice nurse, and now serves as a hospice chaplain. This class begins September 8 and runs eight weeks.
