Wedding Advice

BY PATRICK O’NEILL, MINISTER, FIRST UNITARIAN CONGREGATIONAL SOCIETY, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Woman looking upHere’s rule #1 if you’re ever in a wedding procession: Walk Slow and Smile a Lot! That’s really the whole deal. You don’t need to do any fancy stutter steps or cha-cha down the aisle. Just walk slow and smile a lot. Walk slow, because it’s more graceful and it gives everyone a chance to enjoy you. Smile a lot, because it’s more graceful and it gives everyone a chance to enjoy you. Come to think of it, this may be rule #1 in the great procession of life, too. Walk slow and smile a lot. Because it’s more graceful and it gives everyone a chance to enjoy you.
