The CLF only has one worship service all year, at General Assembly. As such, CLF members are not reminded to support us every week, and yet they still pledge, they still give. We are grateful for the support of our membership, but are pleased that so many UU congregations now conduct special second collections—proceeds to a benefit a special cause.
We are appreciative that other UU congregations, some of which the CLF actually helped to start (more than 450 that we know about), are interested in helping the CLF meet some of the fiscal challenges unique to this virtual church. Congregations help the CLF in so many ways. And we know that congregations who ‘share the plate’ have not experienced declines in their own income—instead, generosity is multiplied!
Our website is filled with all sorts of information that could help with a CLF related service, but we’ve also put together some worship planning resources here that we hope you find useful. Please call or email us if you are interested in learning more about any of our programs, or need more information. We’re happy to help!
CLF’s Mission
CLF's mission is to provide a ministry to isolated religious liberals, and to offer a spiritual home within the Unitarian Universalist movement.
The Church of the Larger Fellowship promotes the understanding and growth of Unitarian Universalism and institutes programs to that end.
