“Don't say that you want to give—just go ahead and give! You'll never catch up with a mere hope." Goethe
CLF is, well, it's different. It is a large church; in fact, it is the largest in the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations with 3,312 certified adult members and 549 in RE programs. It has members in 53 countries around the world, and some 350 of its members are incarcerated and served by CLF's Prison Ministry Chaplain, the Rev. Patty Franz.
CLF is a congregation that is open 24/7 but has only one public worship service each year. CLF has a growing/thriving young adult ministry known as the Church of the Younger Fellowship (CYF) that has more than 500 members. CLF has a terrific worship publication -- Quest, and there is a lot of activity among its members in covenant groups, online learning and more -- but there is no coffee hour. The CLF is many things to many people in many different circumstances— and it's now that time of year to ask the many to give to this large, growing and wall-less church. That would be you!
