General Assembly highlights are abundant in 2006 for the Church of the Larger Fellowship:

The CLF worship service felt like—well—real worship! Experience it at www.uua.org/ga/ga06/2077.html. Texts are available there, too. The Reverends Jane Rzepka and Rosemary Bray McNatt (4th Universalist Congregation in New York City) preached, and sections of a new cantata by the Reverends Jason Shelton and Kendyl Gibbons debuted.

CLF member the Rev. Gail Geisenhainer preached "We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest" at the Sunday Morning worship service, a rousing service of the first order. You can play the video of the Sunday Morning worship at www.uua.org/ga/ga06/5002.html.

CLF members came together during GA's Ingathering time on Wednesday, June 21st and spent some time getting to know each other and renewing old friendships. Ace volunteers Linda Melski, Lois Reborne, and Ann Woldt organized the event so that members could meet and greet one another and the CLF staff, have a snack or two, and pick up some raffle prizes and glow-sticks to use to identify themselves in the plenary hall. Many CLF delegates worked at the CLF Booth in the Exhibit Hall and talked with GA attendees about our unique congregation and the services we offer for isolated UUs and small groups. Iris Hardin, CLF Membership Administrator, and Beth Murray, CLF Church on Loan Coordinator, sold CLF jewelry, note cards, order of service covers, luggage straps and publications, so they were mighty busy at the booth. Having the volunteers in the booth to give information about our congregation was a huge help to the staff and they appreciate everyone who helped out.

The Church of the Younger Fellowship (CYF), our online program for young adults, also staffed a booth and talked with many people about joining the CYF or sponsoring young adult memberships. Some members of the CYF Steering Committee attended the CLF Ingathering and Jen Hazel, CYF Steering Committee facilitator, participated in the CLF Worship service.
