I realize, as I am writing this from my home in Maine,
in northeastern United States, that it is summer in only
the northern half of the world. So I am hoping that my reflections
here will indeed be used year-round, being of use for those
of you in the southern hemisphere when we are in the midst
of winter here. This global perspective really makes the
concept of the spiritual cycles of the seasons truly a cycle
for all of us.
